WLC 300 Major ProSeminar
For my MLO 6 requirement
For my MLO6 the requirements were fulfill by all of the courses that I took especially in my course of WLC 300. Fall semester of 2014 I took WLC 300. This class was the first class I had to take for my major. It was definitely easier than I had anticipated, but very helpful. I was introduced to the World Language and Culture department in this class. I met many students studying both Spanish and Japanese. This class provided the students with the knowledge and methods to graduate. There were many workshops on creating resumes and our e-portfolios. We also did library searches and learned about how to search for various sources. This made research papers easier because after taking this course I had less trouble searching for things in Spanish. We were also taught about making powerpoints and giving presentations. After this course I have been able to successful make presentations with powerpoints that express exactly what I am presenting. I am able to manage my tme during the presentations and without this course I definitely would have had more difficulties. This class was very helpful in the way that it gave me a direction of where I want to go while in school and helped give me insight on the possibilities there are for after graduating.
