Reflective Course Narrative
This course was taught by Dr. Donaldo Urioste. I took this course by recommendation of a friend who had taken it two years prior. I had heard that the novels were fascinating and that they would give substantial insight on how it is the be Chicano/a in the United States. I am also very interested in the topic of immigration and everything that goes with it. This class really gave me insight on so many things. We read many different books with male and female authors. This gave even more perspective. We wrote two essays and I have included one at the bottom as evidence. I thoroughly enjoyed taking this class and reading all of the novels. In fact, this class gave me ample information that I have been able to use in my capstone.
