Reflective Course Narrative
I honestly just took this class because I had heard the professor was amazing. These rumors were completely accurate. The professor, Mari Carmen was absolutely energetic and passionate about everything she taught. Another great thing was that she was the full embodiment of a strong Spanish woman. She taught the class about the enlightenment period, the romantic period, and the realist period. One of the works I remember learning much about was El si de las ninas. This is by Leandro Fernandez de Moratin. This was a neoclassical work. Even though I sometimes had trouble understanding everything, it was a very interesting class that I enjoyed going to.
